The ""Weekend 1"" passes, available in the ""general admission"" and ""Premium zone presented by Youtube"" categories, give access to the 2 main Block Parties of the first weekend of the 2023 edition of the MURAL Festival, shows which are held on June 9 and 10, 2023 on the Mile End Stage presented by Youtube of the festival.
This new stage, located at 5705 de Gaspé in Montreal, in the heart of the Mile End, hosts all paid musical events of the festival this year. The 2 Block parties of the first weekend of the MURAL Festival 2023 feature:
Friday, June 9: Koffee, a Jamaican reggae musician, singer-songwriter, rapper, deejay and guitarist. In 2020, Koffee won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for Rapture at the 62nd Grammy Awards. She becomes the youngest person at nineteen, and the only woman to be rewarded in this category. The artist offers you a frenzied show, accompanied by her musicians and dancers as well as preceded by several local talents.
Saturday, June 10: The famous Block Party of the Moonshine collective, with Maureen, Nonso Amadi, Djibril Cissé, Pierre Kwenders (DJ Set) and many others. A classic of the MURAL festival, which has become legendary thanks to the spellbinding atmosphere of Afrobeat and Afrohouse unique to the Moonshine signature.
The superb site of the Mile End Stage, laid out for the enjoyment of festival-goers, has a very special history, having hosted many events in the past, including the famous "Aire Commune" evenings. The MURAL festival welcomes you there this summer, in a spacious area and dressed in spectacular urban art, for unique shows with the frenzied sounds of Hip-Hop, electronic music and the legendary atmosphere of the MURAL Block Parties.
Premium area passes provide access to an elevated and more spacious area with a privileged view of the stage, a premium-level reserved restroom section and an exclusive menu available at the bar.
